Registration:  Players may register individually or request to play on a specific team.  Individual players will be assigned to teams as close to their neighborhood school as possible.  We make every attempt to place players from the same school on the same team.  We cannot do this if the school name is left blank (or is incorrect) on the registration sheet.  Please be sure to specify your neighborhood elementary or middle school.  This also applies if your child is in preschool.  Please list the school that your child will attend in Kindergarten.  A player may also request to play with a friend.

Team and League Formation:  Our goal is to make sure that every child that wants to play baseball has a team.  Teams will have a minimum of 13 players.  Leagues are formed based on current academic grade.  Please make sure you register your child for the correct grade/league.  A player may “play up” one grade level.  Kindergartens must play in the Kindergarten Modified Tball League.  Preschooler who will attend Kindergarten next fall should play in the PreK 5 year old League.  Preschoolers in the PreK 3-4 year old League must be 3 years of age by 9/1/07

Practices:  Practices are organized by the coaches.  PSA does not track nor know what days of the week a coach practices nor do we know where he/she practices.  Once a player is assigned to a team, we will not reassign him/her to another team because practice conflicts.  Please work with your coach to come up with a solution that best meets everyone’s needs.

Uniforms:  Coaches are responsible for ordering team uniforms and collecting the money from each individual who is assigned to their team.

Game Times:

PreK 3-4 Tball League – Games times will be Saturdays (8am-5pm start times), Sunday (1pm-5pm start times).  If a game is rained out on the weekend, it may be rescheduled during the week at 6:00pm.

PreK 5 T-ball and Kindergarten T-ball Leagues – Games times will be Saturdays (8am-5pm start times), Sunday (1pm-5pm start times), and some weeknights (6:00pm start times).

Coach Pitch/MKP Leagues – Game times will be Saturdays (8am-7pm start times), Sundays (1pm-5pm start times), and weeknights (6pm and 7:30pm start times).  Fields are assigned by the city based on the number of players/teams in the league.  They call for 2 games a night during the week and assign fields accordingly.  We try to minimize the 7:30 slots during the school year by playing more Sunday games.

3^rd-8^th Grade Leagues – Game times will be Saturdays (8am-8pm start times), Sundays (1pm-5pm start times), and weeknights (6pm and 8pm start times).  Fields are assigned by the City of Plano based on the number of players/teams in the league.  They call for 2 games a night during the week and assign fields accordingly.  We try to minimize the 8:00pm slots during the school year by playing more Sunday games.

Fields and Schedules:  Fields are assigned by the City of Plano.  Once registration closes, the city assigns fields based on our enrollment numbers.  We cannot form schedules until we get these field assignments.  We have no control over where we play and get our field assignments one week before the season starts.  Schedules are posted as soon as possible.  Please be patient.
